Sustainable Pittsburgh is teaming up with ALCOSAN for this month’s GWC workshop! Attend to learn how your organization can earn GWC points while helping to fix the shared challenge of sewer overflows in the region, resulting in cleaner rivers, healthier people, and potential cost savings for your organization. Join Sustainable Pittsburgh and ALCOSAN for this April 27 event and be sure to invite your co-workers to earn more points. After presentations conclude, participants are invited to join ALCOSAN for a tour of the facility.
Participants may also join an optional tour of the ALCOSAN facility after presentations close. *Earn points for touring ALCOSAN with action WA26!*

Are you looking for affordable actions your organization can take to become more sustainable? Many sustainable practices can be implemented for free, or at a very low cost. Other sustainable solutions may be eligible for financial assistance or tax incentives. Join Sustainable Pittsburgh during this workshop where participants will learn how to fund sustainability initiatives, and even implement some for free.

GWC 4.0 Finale and Awards Ceremony

In 2015, Sustainable Pittsburgh celebrated the achievements of 49 organizations who saved over $1.5 million in energy costs, 28.5 million gallons of water, and diverted 436 tons of waste from landfills through their participation in the Green Workplace Challenge. The 2016-2017 Green Workplace Challenge has 129 competing organizations, who are aiming even higher. Be among the first to learn what a difference their actions have made, and celebrate the achievements of our region's sustainability leaders.
