This workshop will introduce participants to the strategies they can use to manage waste in their organizations. Learn how to reduce waste with smart purchasing decisions, reusing and donating materials. Divert waste from landfills using composting and recycling services. Learn how to track your organization’s waste production and diversion over time using the Environmental Protection Agency’s new waste tracking tool in Portfolio Manager.
Participants will hear from experts who provide waste and materials management services across the southwestern Pennsylvania region, as well as organizations pursuing ambitious materials management goals.
